Lady Gaga’s halftime performance at Super Bowl was an official hit! She stunned the crowd when she jumped from the roof of Houston’s NRG Stadium with a sky of flying drones behind her and performed a six-song mash up of the pop singer’s greatest hits. But now, lets talk about the real thing we care the most; fashion! Her halftime show outfits were as stunning as the show itself.
Lady Gaga’s costumes were one of a million reasons to love her Super Bowl halftime performance. The singer rocked three looks by Atelier Versace. First, she opened her 13-minute show in a shiny bodysuit and knee-high boots, which were both adorned with Swarovski crystals.
Then, Gaga modified her outfit with a sparkle and gold embellished jacket with strong, studded shoulders, keeping the bodysuit and boots. For her last look, the singer emerged in a football-inspired white jacket with Swarovski-covered shoulder pads and embroidered hot pants. The custom Atelier Versace design, “was always about celebrating all that she has done in this first decade of her career,” said Brandon Maxwell of the heavily embellished bodysuit made with Swarovski crystals.
“Versace has been such an important part of her fashion history, so it was such a natural choice to work with them on the costumes,” added Maxwell.
Also, Lady Gaga used 23 makeup products. Her look was created by makeup artist Sarah Tanno using only Marc Jacobs beauty products, and she took inspiration from all of the iconic looks throughout Gaga’s career and just elevated it into something new.
The one thing we are sure is that she absolutely nailed it, not only because of the performance but also for all the stunning looks.
