He studied Business Administration and later began working for the prestigious Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna in Lima, arousing his passion for fashion. After the experience acquired in the area, he began his fashion design studies at the renowned Mod’Art institute, where he graduated with great success. Soon he launched his first collection for his own brand, which opened doors to important runways in cities like New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and Santo Domingo. After taking her work to different countries and performing at more than 13 international fashion shows, in 2013, Yirko Sivirich presented for the first time his masculine line on a catwalk in her own country, forming part of Lima Fashion Week, the most important fashion show in Peru, in the category of “New Talent”. For that occasion, Yirko Sivirich presented his Fall-Winter 2013-2014 collection, the same one that had already been presented weeks before in New York and catalogaded him as one of the new promises of peruvian fashion design. In the same year, his Spring-Summer 2014 collection “Mi Ica Querida” was nominated as the best collection at the Luces Awards organized by El Comercio, the most important newspaper in Peru. Next season his collection called “Sierra” won the Barrington Awards as the best collection in LIF Week, adding a further achievement for his career as a designer. In adition to these achievements, he was invited to Mercedes Benz Fashion Day in Bolivia and at the catwalk from Cali Exposhow, the most important fashion and beauty event in Latin America.
In 2015, his brand took a new course by focusing its style on tailoring and incorporating a new female line. During that year, participated in catwalks like BMW Fashion Show in Lima and Men’s Fashion Week in Santo Domingo. A year later he was invited to Miami Fashion Week, Puerto Rico Fashion IN and Latino Fashion Week in Chicago. This year he successfully presented Jatun Runa, his most recent collection for the Autum-Winter Season 2017.
